Inspection you can read, and an NDA we sign first
Two things engineers ask about before sending a file: will the part be checked, and who sees the drawing. Both answers are process, not policy language.
Five checkpoints between the machine and the box
Inspection is scheduled into the lead time, not added when something looks wrong. Any order can ship with the record attached.
- 01
Incoming material check
Grade and condition verified against the mill certificate before the stock is released to a machine.
- 02
In-process inspection
First-off part measured, then hourly checks on critical features while the batch runs.
- 03
Dimensional inspection (CMM)
Critical features measured on a calibrated coordinate measuring machine at 20 °C, against the drawing datums.
- 04
First article inspection (FAI)
Every ballooned dimension on the first part of a run recorded on an FAI sheet, on request.
- 05
Pre-shipment photo / video
Parts photographed as packed, with the inspection record attached before the parcel is booked.
Documents we can ship with an order
- Material certificate Mill certificate for the lot, on request
- Dimensional inspection report CMM record for critical features
- Pre-shipment photos & videos As packed, before the courier collects
- Third-party inspection SGS or TÜV, quoted separately
If a dimension is out of tolerance, or an assembly does not fit, because of our process, the part is remade or refunded at our cost. The inspection record decides the question.
